Woollahra

The location: A private weatherboard oasis in Woollahra, just moments from Centennial Park.

The client: A professional couple with a young family.

The brief: To add warmth and styling touches to the recent Scandinavian-inspired renovation.

The result: Elements of blush, charcoal and grey were added to the predominantly white scheme for visual interest. Layers of natural woven textures such as raffia, wool and animal hide were included for added warmth and to help ground the cool colour palette. Bold global-inspired patterns were introduced in a subtle way through soft furnishings to contrast gently with the overall minimalist vibe.
