Oyster Bay

The location: Sitting pretty on the peaceful river of Oyster Bay in Sydney’s Sutherland Shire.

The client: Owner of Jessi Eve & partner Adam Blackmore.

The brief: ‘Lived-in, light & airy, bohemian’. And yes, we created a brief before we styled our own home. It’s important (even as a stylist) to create a brief for yourself to ensure consistency and cohesion from one space to another.

The result: White on white with neutral tones like sand, grey, charcoal and tan with some fun pops of colour in concentrated areas that can be easily swapped out for more earthy neutrals as the seasons and moods change. Natural textures such as linen, timber, rattan, feathers and jute all contribute to the relaxed, coastal bohemian vibe of this riverside weatherboard. Featured in multiple publications across the globe such as Yen, Real Living, Home, Couch and Zomerbries.
