The location: Nestled like a treehouse in the heights of the Illawarra escarpment with glimpses of the stunning coastline beyond the trees.
The client: A creative and artistic family looking to renovate and style their humble beach house to turn it into the ultimate weekender to be shared and enjoyed by three generations.
The brief: Colourful, relaxed, bohemian style with vintage/retro charm.
The result: A beautiful mix of colour, texture and pattern makes this home truly unique and inspiring. A palette of jewel tones, mid-tone timbers, fresh white walls and patterns ranging from abstract florals to global-inspired prints compliment the mix of fabrications such as velvet, linen and leather used throughout the home. Natural and coloured rattan is featured to achieve a relaxed, retro vibe and mismatched dining chairs around the extendable solid oak table ensure a casual mood. A simple bathroom reno saw the old vanity removed and replaced with a simple timber shelf bench top with an above-counter basin, exposed pipes and mirrored storage. As featured on houzz.com.au.

Working with Jessi has been amazing. Jessi has impeccable taste, and I had been looking for someone I felt confident with to just let them make creative decisions knowing that the outcome would be something I loved. We also had wonderful creative back-and-forths, and Jessi never hesitated to find alternatives for pieces or rooms until I had landed on exactly what I wanted. I feel like I learned a lot about styling through the process as well, and Jessi has opened up my own palette of interior styling resources through sharing her own knowledge. Jessi is an exemplary professional as well as being a lovely and warm person, and was just a pleasure to work with.
